Happy Hanukkah
(From My Jewish Learning) Hanukkah is the Festival of Lights.
It commemorates the victory of the ancient Israelites over the Syrian Greek army, and the subsequent miracle of restoring the menorah in the Holy Temple in Jerusalem.
The miracle of Hanukkah is that only one vial of oil was found with just enough oil for one day, and yet it lasted for eight full days.
Happy Hanukkah to my Jewish friends and others who observe this holiday.
North Pole Limited Train Excursion
Tonight we went on an imaginary journey to the north pole from the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum. It was a fun trip that made us remember the times when we heard stories of Santa and Mrs. Claus. We enjoyed a voyage like that of “The Polar Express” except we didn’t encounter many caribou. During the trip they gave us a snack and a jingle bell. This is a great holiday attraction that is right here in Chattanooga, Tennessee that families of all types can enjoy. Christmas is better when you do things like this.
Today is also the Feast Day of St. Nicholas so this fun event was very appropriate.

The more she turned away from people the more they got scared of her and they did something terrible, they became more scared and they took her away and they killed her! Even though that she was dead something in her came back and this part of her that would not go away even for 300 years and the longer it stayed the less…

PAT METHENY 80/81 || Turn Around || Hamburg 1981
I keep a bunch of old tickets just to remind me some good things, YouTube makes time travelling possible, in the exact same year according to the scarce info about the video – while these guys were playing together I had my fair share of them!
