She said she was raped and I am the product of the act. She was young, naive and longing for someone to love her. I just wasn’t expected.
She rationalized in her mind to somehow make right out of the wrong by seeing the pregnancy through and somehow create a family. So she stayed with my father and her offender….
A mother she never wanted to be, at least not now and not this way. She had dreams of her own which were now delayed, deferred and ultimately denied. For this child required so much and sometimes it was hard to give of herself naturally and free from resentment.
He made promises to her that never came to fruition. She ultimately found the courage to leave with the baby born between them; against the visions for her life. Only to meet yet another man with similar behaviors, patterns and intentions….

The basic instincts of being a human are repeatedly trying to uncover some of the most unrealistic phenomenon on this planet. And surprisingly getting PERSONAL is whats gonna change the game.
I know you don’t have the slightest idea of what I am saying. But…..see! Getting personal is what makes the real you, not the social model you, COME OUT!
Life is going smooth. But certainly you’re not happy. Well, maybe you’re not able to do what you want.Wohoo! Time for some shit turning up in your life. Make you miserable. Make you think. Make choose. Make you fight. Ooohh yeah! That’s what I’m talking about.
You realise that something is wrong only when YOU go wrong.
A female you know, or maybe you yourself made to feel inferior by a male or this society, you start following #Feminism. You come across some requirement considering the government. Work not…

Take It Easy
RETIRED, NOT EXPIRED: WORDS FROM THE AFTER(WORK)LIFE – WITH OCCASIONAL MUSIC
I have told you before about my pledge to the Time To Change initiative, and why I have done this. At the risk of repeating myself, I began blogging to share my experience of depression, in the hope that it would help others. If you want to know more about this please click on About Me or My Story in the menu bar at the top of the site. If you go anywhere near Facebook or Twitter today I hope you see the hashtag #timetotalk, as today is Time To Talk Day – here in the UK, at least. It is also World Cancer Day, but I’ll leave it to others who are far better qualified than I to talk about that.
The designation Time To Talk Day has been started by the Time To Change…

#1. Learn the Answers
One of the easiest ways to pass a test is to simply know the answers to the questions.
Life is sort of like one big success test. Most Success Coaches will tell you that Success leaves clues. However, I’m here to tell you that Success does not leave clues…it leaves the Answers.
The reason so many people are toiling away in failure is because they have not learned from successful people. The most successful people have documented their life lessons and strategies in books. If you want to be successful in ANYTHING, you have to read. Life is as easy as picking up a book and reading.
#2. Set and Exceed Your Own Expectations
We are always conscious of others expectations. This could be a mother, father, son, daughter, or siblings. However, we need to set our own expectations and exceed them. This immediately puts you…

I have been reflecting and reading and l know that l feel good when l have a purpose. I feel good when l have something l am looking forward to achieving. Feeling good feels great! Just like smiling makes you feel good.
Children are amazing! they make feeling good look easy. My son is a master at feeling good. Mud made from rain gives him a purpose. He makes plans to play and build in that mud and he does it. Children can remind you to get on and do those things that make you feel good. The feeling of happiness l get when my son says, “Come on mummy! Come and play with me.”
Just get started feeling good. Getting started on what you feel…

He’s really made some progress,
He’s built some interchange
On both ends of the layout
Which has been rearranged…
Well he’s blowing for the crossing
That N scale train of mine!
Just get that trackage wired…
We’ll make this run on time.
He’s found a perfect match for
A busy industry,
A bright corrugated steel
Building , yes-siree!
And he’s going to make it
Unload salt and coal…
Some woodchips on the side
For gardener’s gold!
He might just have a spur for
An engine house at last,
Except during salt season
When they have to unload fast…
If he ever gets track wired,
They’ll ship that salt at last!
He’s got a cardboard backdrop
With a mirror glued in place…
It’s angled to reflect the track
And not your pretty face!
He’s going build half a bridge
With the mirror below…

The answer is…a COOKING CLASS. Learning to cook in another country is an amazing way to gain an insider view of the location. The classes are taught by locals who educate you (in a fun way) about the types of foods that are prevalent in that country, eating etiquette and a whole bunch of other stuff indirectly (like culture, language and history). What can I say? Food brings people together.
During my trip to Thailand, I spent $50 and cooked (and ate) a three-course meal at Samui Institute of Thai Culinary Arts (SITCA). The class was recommended on Trip Advisor, and was right in downtown Chaweng on the island of Koh Samui. We learned a ton and got to keep a book of recipes.
What we made (and, ultimately…ate):
- Homemade yellow Curry paste
- Yellow Curry with Chicken
- Glass noodle soup with soft tofu (my fave)
- Deep fried fish with turmeric
