Maybe for now I’ll bask in the few minutes we spend together – how for a few moments, your smiles are for me. I’ll savor the moments when you tell me your secrets, that there are things only we share. Maybe that’s how it’s supposed to be for now.
I am unequivocally a lover of the moon 🙂
Tonight I’ll get to see her, once again, in all her majesty.
The moon, in my opinion, is one of God’s most beautiful gifts.
And I’ve been nursing a crush on this celestial ‘mama’ for as long as I can remember.
I watch her.
I talk to her.
I dance ‘with’ her.
I read about her.
In fact, I adore Luna related folklore.
A few years back, while poking around on the interwebs, I ran across a little ritual for wishing on the moon.
After reading it, I thought, “Hmmm this might be fun to try someday.”
And, with that, I saved it for future reference.
Well it looks like future reference has arrived 🙂 and tonight Lady J and I are going to give it a try!

I couldn’t go out as I had to wait for pictures to suddenly appear in the hall, wiping their feet as the minstrels played in the “Nude On A Cliff Top” gallery. Before this the man with rat whiskers knocked the door and window simultaneously and then exchanged pleasantries with the cat - who was wearing a crash helmet despite sitting still. The man pulled a square object out of a circular hole and gave me a triangular smile - I replied with my nicest polyhedron. After the picture people had called I made the inevitable white mark on a white canvas and then spoke to June with a frying pan phone - she answered with the clink of a coffee cup. She followed the tea pot home and we made a tea set in the Minotaur’s intestines we have been told to call a kitchen.
Isabelle heard cries
of terrorism & wars.
It so frightened this
little girl. She felt the
hate & envy circulate
like an awful venom
through this world.
Sightless Isabelle lives
a happy life where love
& hope will always rise.
The child feels blessed
she never witnessed
hatred with her eyes
