Times gone by…


He watched the waves twist and turn as if to fall apart all at once as the ocean swelled, “they won’t fall apart, not yet”, He thought- knowing well enough they’d grow, absorbing more and more ocean as they raced toward the beach till they stood too tall over the shallow seabed to run any further, forcing a tap on their ankles enough to trip and break and crumble into a rough mixture of whitened chaos which mimicked the clouds. He smiled in amusement, satisfied by the brilliance of his foretelling. He had grown to know the ocean in the six years he’d been alive.
