Some of these numbers are subject to change, but the historically massive scale of this protest can not be denied. The protests in Washington D.C., Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York City alone totals over 2 million people. Over 670 marches took place worldwide, with thousands of people also taking part in demonstrations in Tokyo, Dublin, Capetown, Paris, Vienna, and Yangon, to name a few.

Beginning of Papa’s Door
I’m starting a new quilt which will hopefully accepted into a National Quilt Show (s) this year.
I’ll share the story behind the quilt when I finish. This blog is to show you my process and my thinking.
Papa’s Door will be a painted whole cloth art quilt. I started with a traced image as my usual process and added the squares around it to resemble Italian tiles. The original photo was a plain stucco wall. To add interest to the quilt, I decided to add the “tile” look. Frixion pens are my favorite fabric marking tools. They stay on for as long as you want, thin line is formed, and iron off easily. I have found that on dark fabric the pen leaves a white line which can be removed with laundry soap quite easily.

An Organic Experience
Leave it to near where I live to have a wining and dining excursion that wasn’t just authentic but felt as spontaneous as any night out I’ve had in some time. Based on that picture above, I would say that’s quite the understatement.
One Eleven Main Street, in well, Main Street, Bel Air, MD has been open for several months. I’m slightly embarrassed to have not this restaurant even existed. I live minutes away from historic Main Street and had passed through recently. I guess I just never noticed it. Shame on me but this is why you have good friends to steer you in the right direction.
In terms of unplanned, I had a peaceful night of doing nothing at home. Sometimes we need that. I had zero intention of going out. I was at peace with watching a cinema, eating some processed food, and calling it a night.
