Frozen crystals on plants

My thoughts on

Jack Frost icing the plants:

** a simple poetic passage **

“His wand has its tip frozen

and full of static electricity,

Jack raises his arm to touch branches,

trailing crystal icicles dropping

onto the fronds, fallen leaves

and broken branches.

Once winter’s “mask”

is frosted upon every

one of nature’s faces. . .

there’s glittering stars

and edges outlined,

shining like diamonds.

(12-17, Happy birthday to

all December winter “babies!)
